Aeron is Nadcap accredited for heat treat, and offers heat treating capabilities that meet AMS 2770 standards, as well as other specifications with customer-specific approval.

 

Our certified heat treating equipment is complemented by verification methods, including conductivity and hardness testing, to ensure quality.

 

Current Heat Treat Capabilities:

  • Alloys: Aluminum 2XXX, 6XXX, and 7075 (Bare or Clad)
  • Tempers: T4, T42, T6, and T62
  • Annealing: Performed only to relieve cold working stress during processing
  • Cross-Section Thickness: Up to 0.250” or less
  • Quenching Solution: Water
  • Environment: Controlled Atmosphere
